Hello Patches,

Welcome to the BFT message boards!

I'm in Southern California so no doubt I'll be headed up North or with any luck at all out of state. Haven't had the good fortune of trying the smelt but I definetly know what you mean about the brookies, nothing better then a fresh (from stream to pan) brookie with eggs over easy (my personal favorite)!!

I'll look forward to hearing how you do this Winter and will keep you posted on my Ice fishing progress!
