Aquilla guide report
#1
What a difference a few days make. Went out today and because of the rain and cooler weather, the water had cooled off 5 to 6 degrees. Lake level is up, it’s about a foot over full pool, upper end is muddy, mid lake is stained, and lower is semi clear. Water temps were running from 54 to 56.

Black bass are still catchable on rattletraps in white craw and bumblebee, out in front of the pockets, and on main lake points. The action is still slow in the backs of the pockets, however you can still manage a few. I fished for 3hrs and put 8 fish in the boat. The first 1.5hrs I was just riding the lake to get a feel for how much it had changed from Tuesday. My fish were, two dinks, and the rest were 3 to 4.5lbs. I did talk to one person who landed a nice 7lb black from the mouth of a creek so they are starting to move. Just a little more stable weather and this is going to get fun. Let me know if I can help you out here or at Ray Roberts.

Till next time,

Good fishing and

GOD BLESS
