I saw them storms that came through there the last couple days and was wondering how long befor the fishing might recover down there after those tornados.

I know here in michingn fish dont bite when the beromiter is at "O" (funnel over head) and takes a couple days to recover.

Mr. Clown:

We don't worry about or let the effects of "storms" in Texas deter us from fishing after their passage. As for tornados-there was only one, 180 miles southeast of San Antonio in Corpus Christi. C.C.; an area that normally doesn't see land based storms of such a destructive magnitude. Those folks worry most about potential effects of what comes at them from the Gulf side.

This state is so big that while C.C. was receiving their weather, all it was doing in the south-central part of the state and the Hill Country where we guide, is drizzeling. Fishing was and continues to be great. Especially on Canyon Lake. Lake LBJ is improving, now that the recreational boaters are gone. Water temps. are dropping toward the magic number of 65-70 when the schooling activity of largemouth peaks. Lake Buchanan (as well as the whole "Highland Chain" of lakes) will turn from deep structure type fishing to a more shallow water presentation at the same time.

Our fishing will be available for viewers of Ameriana Outdoors and TTN (Texas Tournament Network) in February 2003 on several of the sports channels; OLN, TNN and Fox SoWest.
