Willard Walleyes
#1
I have never caught a walleye, but I am hoping that this will be the year. I need to get some advice on when and where to go. Is it still too cold? What to use? I don't have a boat, so is it worth it to try? If anyone is going out and could use someone to tag along and to ask annoying questions, I'm your guy.

Thanks in advance for the advice.

This is the time of year to catch walleye at willard from shore or float tube near the rock banks. Use Chartreuse or White 3" curly tail grubs on 1/8th oz. heads. Expect to snag some lures off. There are a few good areas out there: the west dike in the evening or just outside the south marina.(know were you are because of the closeure area).
