Started below the campground around 10. Fished up for about 1/2 mile nymphing away. Snagged a couple, landed 5 or so and then switched to dries. The hatch was short lived but fun no less. Landed two on top and missed many many more. My cat like reflexes are are not up to par just yet being the first trip out throwing dries. I guess I will have to just go again real soon. How bout tomorrow, ok, sounds good to me. It was a perfect day on the river with many others there to share it with. Actually I thought it would have been more crowded than it was but I am not complaining at all. Most of the time it is nothing less than combat fishing. I can not believe how consistent the Lower is with all the pressure.
Spring time fishing is a love/hate thing with me. I love it because things are starting to turn on. I hate because I can't fish at all the places at the same time that I would like.Time to start prioritizing.Willard, Utah Lake, Deer Creek, Jordanelle with the bass boat, or flyfishing the Provo, the Green, I can't forget ice off at the Berry and Scofield. What's a guy to do? Next weekend is going to be a float on the Green. I just purchased a new 2 man pontoon boat for a steal of a deal. Yeehaw. Life is good.
Happy fishing and set em and net em.
