Pineview / Causey

Decided to go to the View this morning to check out the water . Fished for 3 hours and nothing . Took a drive up to Causey after . Still about 90% covered in ice but rotten ( I gave it the rock test and it failed ). Fished the open water up the arm and caught 4 bows . Had to get that morning skunk off me .

Randy, how much higher does Pineview have to go before it is full?

Maybe 12 feet would be my guess . Lots of water coming in now .

Thanks for the update Randy. I'd been wondering if the ice was still good up there. As the runoff gets going good in the next week or so, Causey will come up quickly. I've seen in come up 12 feet in just one week.
