Jorden River Walleye's
#1
Went to Jorden river turnout last night about 5:00 just to relieve some stress. caught a bunch of little Kitties mostly Muds biggest was 11 inches lost track of how many I caught. biggest suprize was the big EYE that took my worm. big suprise when I got it to shore(it broke my pole look at picture with broken pole) oh whell what can you expect from a wally world 5 buck pole. good thing I have an extra in the truck. started fishing again and next three casts with a worm off the bottom 3 more EYE's real small about 5 to 9 inches threw them back. notised alot of the muds were pretty cut up and bruised. used worm 10 inches below a swivel and a big sliding egg sinker above the sinker. that EYE Was good eating.
on another note my brother-in-law went to Idaho and nailed this SWEET Stealhead below Challis.

I do fish it in the valley. Or rather used to before my "secret" spot got fished out. Before that the white bass, walleye, channel cats and of corse carp and suckers. My best tip would be to find a nice eddy thats about 3-8 feet deep and soak a worm in it. If the fish are there they should bite.

You take the bluffdale exit from I15, head west. after you go under the narrow bridge take the first left. I think its about 1300 west. follow it all the way to the end, park your car at the gate and then walk down the road to the railroad tracks. walk down the railroad tracks for about a mile and your there. You used to be able to drive to the camp spot but like you said, things change. good luck to you! I went there last night and caught six decent eyes
