I've got the bug lately, and reading all these posts about fishing doesn't help. Has anyone been to Grantsville Res. lately? I was thinking of going there on Sunday, since its close. I was also thinking about Rockport, as well as atleast a hundred other places but those are the two that keep coming up. Any suggestions ?

Well orvy, it depends on what kind of fishing you intend to do(both places have different species of fish available. I have fished (both from the shore) and, Grantsville on my tube and Rockport in my tin boat and/or pontoon. Both places are great for different things and you can successfully fish both from the shore.
Are you fishing from some type of craft or from the shore ? Do you live closer to Grantsville or to Rockport ? Also, Rockport is a state park - which means fees, rangers, and lots more people and it's a lot bigger(about 10 times bigger)
Have you fished them both/either before ? When are you thinking of going ? I often go, so let me know when and maybe when can hook up out there.
Yes, a lot of questions. But, you didn't really give much information in your post. Be a little more specific and folks can give better suggestions.

I live in Tooele, I've only been to G'ville once and did o.k. I've pretty much been all over the state fishing, didn't get out much last year though. I started going to school in the eves last summer and working all day kinda makes it tough. I'm thinking I might give Willard a try this evening, if I get the honeydo's done. I'd wouldn't mind trying to "hook up" (pun intended) sometime, seems like alot of good folks on here, I met Randy aka hellsangler and Mike aka MGB at the Rock this winter, seemed like a couple of fishin fools (I say this as a compliment). So many fishing spots, so little time.
