East Canyon with P4L report

p4l and I fished East Canyon this morning (4/11). Fishing was slow, but the weather was awesome. As you can see from the attatched pictures the water level is up. The campground is under construction.

We trolled and Jigged, with greater success trolling in shallow water.

I was wondering when you guys were going to make it up there. Too bad the fishing wasn't any more productive. It does me good to see the water coming up like it is. Hopefully she'll top off this month.

Thanks for the report FOL, were you guys marking a lot of fish? From years past I had my best luck trolling on the surface early in the season, I'm sure you guys tried everything though. Very nice picture of the dam with the mountains in the background. WH2

WH2, We marked fish on surface and bottom. Tried all depth with downriggers. Glad you liked picture. It was good to get outdoors. Thanks
