How are the boat launches? One better than the other or is the water high enough that it`s not an issue? I`m coming from SL so I`ve been thinking the south marina. Any reason to go north marina?? Thanks (for any input).

The south marina is just fine,,plenty of water,,,no problem..

Best to go to the south and you do not have to contend with all the people fishing the marina.

As has been stated, the North marina is attracting big crowds with the Crappie crowd. I launched yesterday morning and the channnel heading out is 14'.
