I was on Mantua Res. last Saturday, I had my kids with me so we did some trolling for trout with zero luck. There were a lot of boats on the res., I was wondering I anyone had been there recently and got in to the fish. I talked to a fish cop while pulling the boat out and he said the trout population in Mantua was very low, mostly Perch and Bass now. FYI the water temp was 50*.

So you know, they just stocked close to 3 thousand of those fat breed of rainbows in Mantua a few weeks ago. Not sure where they ended up but my guess would be that they would be hanging out by any inlets that have runoff emptying into the reservoir.
