Hearing scheduled for contested fisheries case The Oregon Commercial Fishery Permit Board today announced it has scheduled a special meeting via telephone conference call April 29 to consider two contested commercial fisheries cases. The meeting begins at 9 a.m. Public wishing to listen to the meetings may do so at the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife Headquarters, 3406 Cherry Avenue NE, Salem, Oregon. The board will review proposed orders in the contested cases of the Denial of 2005 Limited Entry Permit for Black/Blue Rockfish for James A Wise, Vessel OR905HY Late Night, and S.W. Olsen, Vessel OR985FL Pirate, in order to prepare final orders. The meeting location is accessible to person with disabilities. A request for an interpreter for the hearing impaired or for other accommodations for persons with disabilities should be made at least 48 hours before the meeting to Marci Wightman, (503) 947-6103.
