big bass at quail!!!!!

drove up to quail from vegas on sat. it was worth it! i caught quite a few including a smallie. didnt even know they are in there. but just before i was ready to leave i hooked into a 21" 8 pounder and then within 5 mins of that the guy next to me hit a bigger one!!! saw a lot of 5 to 7 pounders caught over the weekend. man there are some toads in there!!! i'll post a pic of the big one i caught when i get em developed.

Was that 8lb fish you caught a female full of eggs? These fish must be very healthy and well-fed. Good luck in your quest to break the state record, it may come from this impoundment. [cool]

Dang! I was down there Saturday but made the decision to go to Sand Hollow instead of Quail creek. The fishing at Sand Hollow was slow and I had no luck. If I had just decided to go to Quail maybe my luck would have been different. Oh well, we still had a great time.

i'm not sure if it was a female or not but if i were a bettin man i would say yes cuz it was a fatty! nearly as fat as me! and that measns buyin its pants in the husky section!!!!!!
