Getting To Bear lake This Summer
#1
For those of you traveling to Bear Lake this summer, you may want to keep an eye on the following web page

http://www.udot.utah.gov/logancanyon/

The above web page will help keep you up-to-date on the road closures and delays associated with the reconstruction of US 89 from Bear Lake summit east to Garden City. Traveling to Bear Lake could once again be a little interesting for a couple years. Do you remember the reconstruction of US 89 from the summit west to Logan a couple years ago?

The only thing I have to go on is that web page. It currently says:

Tues. 4/26: One-lane closures from mileposts 409-412 (See "Project Map" segments 9 & 10). 5-15 minute delays are possible.

Wed.-Thurs. 4/27-28: Test blasts in segment 5. 10 minute closures are possible.

If you look at their project map as you read the above notices, you can get a general idea of what, where, and when. You can get an idea of the long term schedule on their schedule page at
