Going to set-up my new 24V trolling motor tonight. What guage wire do I need to use for the jumper between the two 12V batteries?

8 gauge should be good. I sent you a chart that indicates what gauge wire you should use iin multiple voltage configurations (through your email) Hope that helps partner!

Just like it was said. 8awg should be fine up to 55amps. If you are going over that but not over 70amps then use a 6awg. 80amps requires 4awg.

Good luck and just remeber, Current causes heat on the wire. The bigger the awg, the better it will handle the heat and current.[cool]
