Willard report 5/24
#1
Me and polokid got on the water about 8:00 AM yesterday,The water temp was cooler than I thought it would be at 61 degrees, and had a north wind to boot,we fished out side the south marina and hooked a small wiper within the first half hour, then we trolled, casted, and checked out some of the spots that have produced, but petty must have left the skunk out there for someone else to catch,HAHA,
we left at 2:15pm with a total of 5 wipers caught,My son caught all but one, which polo caught, and I got skunked.
I might make it out this Sunday,so if your out give a call out on channel 16 (marine radio)Then go to 68 for a fishing update.
All fish where caught on lipless lures but the one that polo caught,it was on a diver.
Have a fun and safe holiday,

Thanks for the report Tony, we have also had a hard time with the wipers at Willard lately so don't feel bad. Until the fish get a little more active it is the same old story, you have to keep hunting for those actively feeding fish. Lets hope the story is different on June 4th.

Hey,WH2
I dont feel to bad,it's always nice to get out when I can,it was a great day to be fishing even if the catching wasn't.
