Bear River Cats Again

Although I can't claim any great days like those being reported a little further south on Utah Lake, I am now consistently catching some nice channel cats on the Bear River despite the high flows. Carp meat and shrimp have been the best. I have caught a couple of bigger bullheads (12" - which is pretty good compared to some of the dinks you can catch consistently at Benson Marina) on worms as well. Anyone else doing any good up here in Cache Valley or heading out nearby this weekend?

Thanks for the report. I am glad someone is catching fish in this high water. I haven't had a chance to get out yet but maybe this weekend. maybe we will see you out there somewhere. Keep us posted on how you are doing.
