[cool]Starvation has millions of walleye (including some big ones), monster brown trout, and a ton of perch. From what I understand, right now is a great time for the browns, and the walleye fishing really picks up around July there. That's about all I got, but somebody else will chime in with more details.

I have caught Smallmouth bass, walleye, Brown Trout, Cutthroat Trout, Chubs, and there are also perch in the lake. As for camping the whole lake is tied up, you have to pay no matter where you camp around the lake. 1 more thing, the WIND BLOWS ALMOOST ALL THE TIME, and when it blows out there it blows hard.[Smile] Fishing can be very slow, you need a boat to make it worth the long drive.

You're one up on me. I've caught everything you listed except the Cutthroat. Pretty sure I saw one in the shallows a few years ago. It came out from under a rock I was fishing to look at my lure, and then turn and run for deeper cover. It was for sure a Trout, but whether a Brown that had been deep and lost some color, or a Cut, I'm not sure.

I am still having trouble getting the bucks together to fix my motor so I can get back out there. It's been a year, and I'm feeling the stuck on the bank withdrawals. It doesn't help when a guy I work with brings in pics from the Gorge of his 2 macks in the 20's. He doesn't fish more than once or twice a year to make it more "rub your/my nose in it".

With any luck, I'll get it fixed within the next month and get a report of how the eyes are doing. If not, I'll at least run over and try some of the few (very few) spots you can get reasonable shore fishing.
