Clearfield pond Tuesday

Took the grandson to the clearfield pond Tuesday afternoon. The bluegill are on their spawing beds by the parking lot. My grandson got alot of bluegill and a 9 inch bass. I was so excited about the bass, he didn't care it was a bass he just wanted me to get it off so he could get another fish. I guess being 3 1/2 you are happy just getting a fish.

Its always a hoot fishing with youngsters and makes for fun times. Tell the lad congrats on catching the Bass and give him a pat on the back form old Footer.

Hey Mark, have you fished the pond lately? I don't know if you have read the fishing reports but they stocked it with a bunch of trout.It is real mossy around the dock so the kids couldn't get any gills from there yet. See you soon.
