Fished off the shore over by soldier creek marina. Got a few hits with a orange kastmaster. Tried different colors of jigs. Got most hits with a Jakes spinner (brass with red dots). Only landed 1 fish.A 14 inch cutthroat. Wind was not as bad as usual. It was nice just to get out.

I enjoy fishing that Soldier Creek side. We have caught a few big rainbows with worms off of the dam. There is alot of bait fish over there for them to chase. I will be up at Strawberry next weekend staying at the Aspen Grove Campground, It is the third annual Gentlemen's weekend. The last few years I didn't get much fishing in, sleeping in the bushes in the rain and waking up with what feels like a locomotive running through your head kid of ruins your weekend for fishing.
