] We took out the Ray goren group for a full day of fishing. We ran out to the fire island inlet and spotted birds working. we jigged up over 30 blues and releasing many more in the 2-8 lb. range. this went on for over 2 hours! We then ran to the soar thumb area to try for some tasty flounder. we fished the last of the ebb and beginning of the flood. we nailed 5 flounder several porgys which were released and a few nice blow fish. skates became a problem so we moved to the bridge and chummed up 4 teen size bass with loads of skates and sea robins.
