Well, I was excited to go to the gorge, but I discovered that when my prop was stolen, the person also BROKE the shaft that comes out from the motor. Fortunately, I talked to Minn Kota and they said that the shaft shouldn't break off like that, so they'll repair it under warranty. That means weeks or months till I get it back though, so my Flaming Gorge trip will now be a trip to Fish Lake and I'll save the gorge trip until my motor is fixed (I just can't go there and not be able to troll for salmon!)
So..... does anyone have some tips on lures or locations for jigging at Fish Lake? I've heard to jig the weedline and someone mentioned the "cheese holes" but I don't know where those are located. I am taking my Dad for Father's Day and really want to have some good luck, it seems everytime he's come in my new boat we don't do very well.
