Jordanelle Bass - Pic
#1
Hey--I have a question. I went to Jordanelle on Thursday evening. Fishing was quite slow, but I did manage a bass. The thing is, I've never been fishing for bass there, so I have no idea if this was a decent size for the reservoir.

Is this about right for Jordanelle?

That's about average for Jordanelle. I notice that you named the bass a delicious bass. Did it get invited to dinner? Just to let you know that all bass 12" and above need to be released at Jordanelle. Nice looking smallie.

Hey Lurechucker,

Looks like you got skills--like fishing skills, bass-catching skills, nunchuck skills, bowhunting skills, computer-hacking skills ...

Congrats! Nice fish!

And just one more reference:

Napoleon Dynamite: What kind of bike do you have?
Pedro: It's a sledgehammer.
Napoleon Dynamite: Dang! You got shocks, pegs... lucky! You ever take it off any sweet jumps?

Ya, he's still swimming out there--the "delicious bass" was a reference to Napolean Dynamite, although I'm sure he would have been delicious. That's okay. I'd prefer a frickin' queSadilla.

I was throwing a small clearish-sparkly tube jig from the shore. Pretty much the best tube jig ever. I caught him right away, and then got nothing the rest of the night. Maybe he told the rest of the fish that his lips hurt real bad...I dunno.

The water there is incredibly high.

Both Jordanelle and Deer Creek are 100% full, according to KSL's website:

Oops, missed that Napoleon Dynamite reference. That's what when you get old. Even though I've seen the movie lots of times, the short-term memory is not the same as before. Doggonefishing and I may hit Lake X tomorrow afternoon, anybody else going?
