Hey ocean, there is a campground at joes valley, however it can be quite hot there due to it being a fairly low elevation lake. For a nearby much prettier place to camp,go around the lake until you see the marina sign, but instead of turning down follow the road toward ephriam until you come to the grassy lake turn, follow this road to grassy lake, drive up the road by the bathroom and you'll find some great camping,Grassy can be great fishing to.it's about 3-4 miles from joes valley. If you are pulling a large trailor beware of stormy weather however. Good Luck Lonnie

Or you could head north on the northeastern end of the lake and camp at Potter's Ponds. Should be plenty of fish in the ponds for the 4th.
