Growing up, there were two kinds of fishing trips according to my dad. First, there were great fishing trips. Lots of fish. Monsters of the great blue deep. Fish after fish, hand over fist.

And then, there were beautiful trips. Great weather. Good scenery. Lots of wildlife.

I've taken that philosophy to the next technological level--either there are pictures of fish, or pictures of the scenery.

Since I don't take pictures of the lakerats (chubs) I catch, enjoy these pictures of the scenery...

(The fish were REALLY smacking the surface, but whatever they wanted, I didn't have--and I threw everything I had at them.)

[cool]Those are some beautiful scenery pics, lurechucker. Makes me excited to see how the wildflowers are this summer in Fairview Canyon next month. Hope the catching goes better for you next trip out to Lake X.
