Utah Lake Image

Hey guys, I am starting a free magazine for the valley called "Utah Lake Magazine" It's gonna cover a ton of stuff surrounding the lake! We all know it's shallow, we all know it's murky ... but what a fishery! Do you think it doesn't get the credit it deserves? I personally would like to see it's public image change.

SSSSSHHHHHHH![] Lets just keep it to ourselves about how good not good how great a fishery it is![] You have all kinds of species in that lake that no other lakes have except for powell. Thats a good idea about an image upgrade.Poeple i have talked to about utah lake think its a filthy water quality.

I personally have no experience with it other than viewing it from my two income properties in Eagle Mountain! However, I have a friend in Heber that grew up in Lindon that has a number of great stories of fishing from when he was a kid fishing from the bank at Lincoln Beach for white bass and walleye in the spring! I'd love to learn more about it! I'd love to try it! I love channel cat and walleye for eating and got into white bass in Arkansas one day on a family vacation that is one of the fondest fishing memories I have!

[mad]Judging from the 60-70 vehicles in the LB parking lot on Monday, I'd say it's getting more popular by the minute these days. There were too many of the power squadron out there.

[#505000]Amen, Monday is almost as bad as I have ever seen it. I can only think of one other time I remember it being so crowded. I decided I'm going to float that lake from this point on, unless I can fish it on a dull boring weekday.[/#505000]
