Lake Toho
Fishing Report

The drawdown on Lake Toho Lake started and the fishing is great and will bet better and better. This is going to be a banner year for trophy fish. A drawdown of water only occurs every seven years. And what this does is clean the lake up of hydrilla and bad vegetation. Also they clean certain areas of the lake to give the bass a great spawning area in the future. Also what else happens is that the low water conditions force the fish into open water deeper holes where they are as a rule very easy to catch.

This drawdown starting on January 1st and continues to September 1st, will be all catch and release on Lake Toho. The fish are so easy to catch that this will insure the fish population will strive in the future. But like I said, this only happens every seven years so if you want a chance for a great chance to catch a trophy fish, this is the time to do it. We still have open dates for the winter time so give a call or email any questions or bookings to Captainchuck@centralfloridabassfishing.com
