A 165 lb. jack??? on a PWC. I have yet to snag a wakeboarder/waterskier, but I'm sure it will be worth the wait. Excuse me while I to spool up a reel with some really cheap 12# line on a really cheap rod so the loss won't be too great if I decide to let him take the outfit. Oh, I will also be using an old rusty 2/0 treble with 1.5 lbs. of lead wire wrapped around it for maximum casting distance. Seriously, a 22" smallie from Lake X, 10.5 lb channel from Utah Lake, and some others who 'self-released' at a distance.

I know your probable kidding(then maybe you really dont know the difference) but i felt this was a real ignorant thing to say.If you don't like macks fine your choice, but when you compare them to carp ,you really are doing trophy macks a disservice.

WOW! I really struck a nerve with that one! Yes I do know the difference, I have a Mack hanging on my wall. Oh no maybe that will piss someone off too. I fish for all species of fish, even carp! And yes I was just Kidding. Please forgive me for my insensitive comments!

I released a 200# + Lemon Shark. It measurd barely over 8 feet. It was surprisingly caught at Port Hueneme Pier in SoCal. This breed of shark is not supposed to be that far north but have been reported at times, even farther.

Recently, last week, I released a 320lb Black sea bass that was caught out of the Channel Islands in SoCal. It may very well be a line class record for 20lb test but they are protected so I couldn't claim it at the time.[cool]
