East Canyon suckers

So yesterday I got out at about 4pm and was going to try popgear, wedding ring and a worm for some trout, but for some reason I couldnt get the trout to stay on. I had about 15 bites and was trolling at 1mph-1.5mph and they just wouldn't stay on. Is there a trick to keeping those [#ff0000]BAD BOYS[/#ff0000] on the hook?

On a side note, I caught 2 suckers that were both in the 3-4 lb range. What kind of sucker is in easy canyon?

When that happens I switch to a worm harness with 2 hooks and then I start hooking more. I don't know what suckers are in there but years ago I had permission to fish the creek about a half mile above the res and I would get a lot of white fish about that size.

Utah suckers are in east canyon they get fairly large and there are a large number of them though not caught very often.
