[cool][font "Arial"][size 2]We fished Monday 9 miles off Bonita Beach with the Leonard White party. Using live bait in rough 3-4 foot seas, that 6-person charter caught 27 mangrove snapper to 16 inches, with none shorter than 12". We also caught, photographed, and released an 18 pound black drum, and we lost three other big ones. We also got five sheepshead to 18 inches, and released grunts and grouper shorts. After some rough weather, we got out again Sunday with Larry "Buzzy" Skeen and friends Clifford, B.J. & Joe. Using live shrimp, 10 miles off Bonita Beach, we caught 4 limits of mangrove snapper to 17 inches, and released sheepshead and grouper shorts.
