Mantua????
#1
[cool]I haven't heard a report on Mantua in a 2-3 weeks, so I was just wondering if any of you guys have fished it in the past week or so, or if you know any non-BFT'rs that have fished it? I'm thinking of possibly fishing there this Saturday from my tube since the fishing isn't steller right now at Utah Lake for the walleyes.

Any info would be GREAT, even if it's just a little tidbit!

We were up there a couple of weeks ago. We fish from shore. We did not get any bluegill. I got 6 bass from the shore on the left side of the boat dock. We also got a few perch and the ones we got were nice sized. I think the cold weather has moved the gills out to deeper water. I talked to alot of guys with boats and most of them only got one or two bass.

I was out last Friday with my daughter. We caught 6 Bass.

Heading back out there in a couple of hours...

Over the past few weeks, I have found the cooler temps have the fish hitting pretty good. They are eating, getting ready for winter.

I thought it was a dramatic change from the summer pattern...

Good Luck

[cool]That sounds pretty good. How many bluegills and perch did you catch? Are they still biting well too?

[cool]That's o.k. I'll have my tube and fish finder, so hopefully I should be able to find them and the little perchies.
