Fished the Ogden this morning in the rain.
Did very well using a prince nymph and a hares ear. Largest was 21in brown, and caught 4-5 in the 10-12 inch range, with about 6 or 8 between 13-18in.
Use long leaders with light tippet and small indicators. The water was low and clear suprisingly, with all the rain we have had.

I have only fly fished the Ogden once, found access to be very tough. Can you give me some tips as to were I can git in the water?

A lot of the Ogden is open through out the canyon. There are pull outs at every bend. Just stay away from the posted areas. Those folks are mean, even if they only own half of the river bed they will give you a hard time if you walk on the open side. The area below the canyon has a lot of good open fishing water also.

That's where I was. I normally like to park before the Alaskan Inn. Like DKS said, keep an eye out for the land owners....
