Gee, whiz! Is it me or do all the same folks do all the fishin'? [unsure] Don't we need to spread the wealth a little bit? Or am I the one out of the loop? Maybe it's like the old saying goes - "It's easier to beg forgiveness than to ask permission."[

I don't know about the rest, but I setup my schedule around fishing during the fall. Fortunately, the great gal I married is accommodating - she gets her shopping weekends during the hard winter. It also helps to run your own business, instead of letting your business run you (like I see so often).

four on, four off. not a bad schedule gives me 1/2 of the year to fish. Oh and the 4 weeks vacation helps also.[

The phone has quit ringing with opportunities to work unlike the spring when I don’t have any time to think about fishing. All I think about in the spring is work 24-7 for about 10 weeks.

That is so unfair . 7 weeks of PTO . I work 12 to 14 hours a day , 5 days a week and It looks like I get laid off before christmas for my "PTO" .

Working for yourself is a wonderful thing! The only issue is if I'm fishin I'm not making money. That don't make mama happy, and If mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy.

the secret is to have a job you control.. not one that controls you..
and making a lot of money at it dont hurt ether.. lol my next planded job is not tell some time in jan 06.. so bring on the ice fishing.. [signature] |
