It keeps creeping toward Rockport. And that's a great thing! I'd bet Lost Creek is capped too, that cold, shaded hole that it sits in. I'm going to have to take a drive one of these evenings . . .

The State Parks guy from East Canyon drove to Lost Creek yesterday and said there was no ice at all. Weird, but that's what he said.

I drove by Hyrum this morning and it was mostly ice-covered. Very thin.

[cool]Lost Creek is fairly deep compared to a lake like Scofield or Mantua. Therefore, it takes a little longer to freeze believe it or not. That's why L.C. is NEVER the first or one of the first lakes to freeze. With that being said however, it should have safe ice in about a week (usually does, anyway) just in time for HFT's ice class on the ice.

I talked to a guy this morning who lives in Morgan, he said that it was -4* when he left his house today. He also said that he was up to east canyon the other day and there was some ice showing up on the edges. The bad news is that it has been pretty windy the last few days.

Shouldn't bee to much longer now!!!!!!
