I got off work a bit early and headed to Lincoln beach. Good news, the Southern end of Utah lake is capped, except for a couple spots kept open by waterfowl. The LB harbor has 3 inches of ice. One part looks like open water from the road, but it is actually very clear ice without snow. I went and fished around the docks. Zip,zero, nada. This is the bad news. I didn't even get a bite and only marked one single fish in the hour I spent there. It doesn't appear that there are many fish using that area at this time, which was surprising and disappointing. Another fellow came by for a minute that had been at Lindon harbor for a while and had gotten skunked. I didn't get details about how long he fished for but he said that the ice conditions were the same as at Lincoln.
