ice at the ladders?

Anyone have a report on ice conditions at the ladders, chicken creek or the soldier creek side?

CCE had ice on Saturday, but it looked thin. I'm sure it has gotten a little thicker, but I haven't heard on depth. Some of the secluded bays on the SC side might have ice, but I'd bet the main body of water is still open. It comes along slow because of the depth of the water.

I HERD LAST NIGHT FROM A FREIND IN MOUNTAIN HOME HE DROVE PAST AND SAID THE ICE IS OUT TO THE ISLAND BY THE LADDERS BUT NOT TO MUTCH INFRONT OF LADDERS. HE ALSO SAID THE BAYS AT SC. ARE FROZEN BUT THE MAIN CHANLE IS WIDE OPEN. HE SAID HE SAW NO ONE AT ALL FISHING.

[cool]I have some new neighbors that fished the ladders Saturday. They didn't catch anything. Don't know how good they are at icefishing since I've never been with them to see how or what they do while their out there. They said there was an open hole that was pretty big that some people were fishing in right where the river comes in there.

Does anyone know how the access is to the soldier creek boat ramp?

I HERD ITS GOING TO BE PLOWED THIS SEASON. BUT HAVE NOT BEEN UP TO SEE. IM SURE A 4 WHEELER OR SNOW MOBILE WILL GET YA THERE. OR CHAINS ON A GOOD TRUCK.

I would love to see them plow it this year. It's been two years since I've been able to park at the Soldier Creek boat ramp to ice fish.

I know they have not plowed the road that goes back to the dam if that is the boat ramp you are referring to.
