] i went by echo on my way cabela's today and the ice is looking very dangerous. the ice is really rotten with open water around the bank that looks to far to strech the board across to get on the ice. there was a big crack off of the parking spot on the east side stretching across to the interstate with some open water in it. becareful bft'ers as ice fishing is great fun but isn't worth falling in and drowning for any fish. if you wife is like mine they don't always like you to buy more and more fishing tackle but i'm sure that they would'nt mind if you went shopping for some new tackle in stead of falling through the ice and drowning. if something happens to us who is going to shovel the snow, mow the grass, take out the garbage, and eat all of those new baking recipes that they got for christmas that never taste anything like the people's that they got the recipe from. good luck fishing to all trfishin
