Wiperslayer and I fished the lake this morning. Can you say snow storm? It snowed from Malad to the lake and then all day until we left at 2pm. Cars were off the rode all the way back and we did not see a rode plow until we hit I-15. Saw Crestliner and crew there, good to see you again Tom. We were fishing near the dam in twenty foot of water when we started, caught 9 there. The wind and snow picked up, so I moved a little closer to the dam to get out of the wind. Before we left we caught 5 more in 12 foot of water. Nice fat fish between 12 and 17 inches. Here are a few pictures. WH2

We were hoping today was going to be a better day as far as the weather goes. It sure doesn't look good for the rest of the weekend. At least the worst of the storm didn't hit until we were almost done for the day.

How is the ice near the shoreline? Should I bring a plank or leave it home?

I took a plank and left it there but I really didn't need it. It was a little slushy near the rocks by the dam but not bad, less than a couple inches of slush. Don't try and get on the ice by the shore where the weeds are. WH2
