Has anyone ever seen/tried these leaders, I saw them at a Sportsman show today, Stainless Steel leaders Knottable. They are flexible enough to tie to your monofilament using regular knots. Seem like they would work great for shark, kingfish, cuda, and other heavy toothed fish.

I have it in my Tbox, but have yet to use it. I've heard it doesn't tie as well as claimed, but really can't confirm one way or t'other. I've tried the bass pro braided titaninum leader and Wahoo go through that like a hot knife through butter. Another brand of Titanium single strand wire (I'll post again when I think of the brand) work pretty well, but it's too stiff to tie. must crimp or haywire twist.
For the most part, if I'm chasing Wahoo, I'm bomb slinging (rigged 90# sevenstrand), or trolling (Intruder/Marauder w/400# sevenstrand).

[indent][left]I had not heard about them either. I thought it would be a good product if it works. So I have done some investigating. Tyger Leader will be sending me a sample of it to test. I will post how it does.

There is another knotable leader.I beleave it is called surflon, micro supreme.
It is seven, seven stranded leaders or 7x7.and is cheaper.

Yep Tygerleader is a good product and have used it several times as a replacement for single strand wire on wahoo lures. While cheaper, surflon does not have the strength of TL.
Tying knots with TL is a bit tricky, but seeing I crimp most of my gear then it does not matter a great deal to me. What I like is that it has a fine guage diameter.
The folks at TL sent me a sample about 18 months ago and have put it to a number of good uses over that time.
