What have YOU caught at East Canyon?
#1
Had a great trip with the boys today at East Canyon. Some nice, colorful 'bows were cruising between 10 and 20 feet for most of the morning. But one of the guys caught a crappie! A fat, 8" CRAPPIE!
Now we know the "bucket biologists" are putting their choice of fish in all our lakes. The DWR admitted to smallmouth in East a couple of years ago.
What other unexpected fish are in there? What have you caught?

I hate to hear of the bucket bioligists as much as anyone around. I have a coworker that says he slays the crappies around the boat docks in the summer says they are about 10-12 inches. I haven't made it to East Canyon yet but if I do I plan on trying to find them. Much better eating than trout.
