Bass Fishing and the WON Tournament on Saturday

I had no idea of course when I pulled up in Callville until I saw all the trailers about noon Saturday. Went up towards the narrows and fished some of the same spots I'd fished last week. Graphed a pod of shad in 150 ft of water off the main channel and some smaller schools at 50-60 ft. Water temp about a degree colder than last week. Mostly I tried the walls in an area I hadn't fished before and watched the bass boats run and gun downstream through the Narrows. Everyone was polite and considerate. Managed one bass about pound and a half off a gradual secondary point in the afternoon. WON results can be viewed here:

Note that 50% of the field did not limit. Everyone I saw was fishing fast - maybe crankbaits - standing off in deeper water and throwing downhill.
