One of my river fishing buddys reported that some early steelhead arivals are comming into the Au Sable river .
Two fresh hens were cought at the leaning tree bend using steelhead spawn , waxworms did not produce any hits fishing the hole prior to use of the spawn .
A bright green caddis fly should preform well as the stomachs of both fish were full of them .
