Old McLennon and I hit the Provo today. He told me he had an idea about where we could hit it and catch a few browns with the fly flinging rods. Hahaha. Zip. Nada. Nothin. Jerry had one on on a black wooly bugger for about 2 seconds, but that was it. Not exactly a stelar trip by any means. I think I would have rather fished some of his in-town areas. We probably would have done better.

[cool][#0000ff]You gotta admit though, it was a nice day to be on the river, even if the fishing weren't all that great. Woulda been nicer if you caught something.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]If you really want to catch something on the Provo, wait until it is lined shoulder to shoulder with the Orvis crowd and their fairy wands. Then stroll up and down the bank with a heavy baitcast outfit and and big old size 13 Rapala hanging from it. I guarantee you will catch "something". Be sure to have an armed bodyguard.[/#0000ff]
