Halibut derby
#1
Wow what a gorgeous day wheather and fish! Day 4 was the best so far. Shawn Morgan took 27 anglers to 7 legal Halibut and almost 50 shorts. Biting every thing from live squid, anchovies, and sardines. Won Suh from Cypress has now taken the lead with a 27lb. beautiful female that ate an anchovie fished on the bottom in 65ft of water. Carl Hered jumped into second place with a 19 pounder caught on live squid. With a variety bait like this the fish have really started to show. We will continue to fish every Wed.-Sun. 10a.m. to 4 p.m. for only $30 your entered in with a chance to win $$$$$$. Hope to see you soon. Call at the landing for more details @ (562)432-8993. SEE YA
