Not much to say other than it was a good day to be outdoors after temps 40 degrees and below .
There were probably a good 50 or 60 waders and a half dosen boats out from the coffer on down to the Tunk Hole on Sunday .
I started at the coffer just after daybreak , from top to bottom , all the way untill noon .
Home tied spawn in red, yellow, and chartrouse and in different sized bags had no infalounce on the fish holding bottom . I switched over to flys off and on just to see if anything would hit , no responce there either .
Mini-thundersticks , rattle traps and j-plugs , zip - zero - nadda !
I had purchased some $1.00 #1 Willy's Worms ( It's something like a bomber lure but made from a solid mold ) at that outdoor discount store in Pinconning and gave them a shot. The little browns were tearing that thing up ! No keepers but plenty of thumps to keep you sharp incase a steelie hit .
Must of been the sunshine , could have been the aproaching rainstorms but whatever the reason , the fish just wern't hitting .
I never saw anyone fighting a fish at all , there was the ocasional angler that got peoples hopes up only to reel in a huge monobunny .
Yea , monobunny , houses have dustbunnys , rivers have monobunnys , balls of disguarded fishingline that spent the winter hugging the bottom.
I left around 3:30 P.M. , feet were frose and I needed some fish from the freeser to finish out the day .
