TALLAHASSEE, FL-The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) announced last week that it expects to fund more than $3.5 million in grants next year to help improve recreational boating activities on coastal and inland waters. The FWC's Florida Boating Improvement Program is open to the state's county and municipal governments. Other governmental entities must apply through their counties or municipalities for consideration. The application deadline for fiscal year 2006-07 grants is June 2, 2006.
