]Hi all. I just got word that the Winterfest Derby on Lake Manawa has been called off again. There is 4 to 5 inches of ice but the IA DNR says with so many people that isn't enough. If we had 10 it would be a go. It is plenty thick enough for 1 or 2 anglers but they are concerned with the groups. You may hear the ice cracking, but not to worry. That is normal. Use caution when ventureing out. Even with the extreme cold, as of yesteerday there was still areas of open water on some of the area lakes. Fish Safe. CAT DRACULA
