Sand Hollow and dogs?

Am thinking of taking my bud, Sparky on a float tube outing to Sand. [] Do I have to keep him on a leash or can he roam the shore line and visit me in the tube while I fish. If it's a hassel, I need to know before I waste a trip. I ain't gona tie him or or leave him home so I would skip the trip, he's my fishing bud.[unimpressed]

I have been thinking about modifying a float tube with a plywood platform that my Spaniel could ride on. I would pull it behind or along the side of me. What does everyone think about this? Would it work?

I was afraid of that.[] Kind of difficult keeping him a boat or on leash while in a tube. I'm not about to keep my best fishing friend in the car, so scratch another one off the list to try. I really want'd to give it a shot too. Oh. well.[] I still have 2 spots that I can go to with Sparky that are great, Flaming Gorge (way back on the dirt roads) and Snake River (Swan Falls). Too bad this has to hamper my fishing to this degree but we all have to make our choices in today's environment. [pirate]

If you go and camp on the southeast side they may not say anything on week days no one is camping then....

Appreciate the suggestion, but it's just not worth going that far and risking a problem. I need to hit Pelican before it gets too buggy.
