Pontoon License Requirement
#1
Just got a new trolling motor for my toon. Do I have to get it licensed? If I do, has anyone got any suggestions for putting on the numbers?

[cool][#0000ff]Yes, you do have to register and license any craft with a motor...even a powered up float tube. Rangers DO ticket unregistered toons with motors on them. First year is about $50 - $60, but only $11 after that.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]It is tough to stick the numbers on a pontoon, so most tooners put them on a piece of white plastic or wood and hang them off the frame on each side. If you rig the numbers board with clips you can take them off when not in use, or when you are using oars and not the motor.[/#0000ff]

I just put the registration stickers on the back of my seat and I made a stensil and spraypainted the numbers on the side of my pontoons,
