Kentucky Lake & Lake Barkley
#1
Whitebass are excellent. The whites are not in the jumps yet, but are
really hitting on the bottom. When the current is up fishing is really
exciting. Roostertails and jigging spoons are the best lures. Largemouth
are spotty but some good ones are being taken. Crappie are slow.
Bluegill are very good on crickets and worms early and late. Fish for
the bluegill along the docks and deep points. Catfishing is good below
Kentucky Dam on cut bait. Sauger are spotty.

TIP: Fishing deeper as the water temps rise. The fish seek cooler water
and to get away from the light.

BITS AND PIECES: Life will look brighter if you look at it the right
way.

www.kentuckylakebarkley.com
